Regional Assembly of Text has been one of my favourite Vancouver stores ever since I moved here five years ago. What really won me over was their monthly 'letter writing club' in which they set out a dozen or so typewriters with paper, envelopes, pens, stamps, tea and cookies for you and your friends and their friends and their friend's friends to write letters to whom or whatever. They sell a multitude of typography and post office inspired goods (including a very popular button-of-the-month club) most of which they make themselves. Find them at 3934 Main Street.
You're lucky because they have an online shop.

the monthly letter writing club is such a great idea! I wish that there was a stationary shop in Chicago that offered something like that.
